Program Options 4
B.S. and B.A. Dual Major options.
A number of dual-major programs are offered; these can help focus a student’s course choices along avenues that faculty feel are particularly appropriate. In a dual major, the university permits students to complete fewer courses in a single major area of study than are required in a “full” major, as long as the program pairs a substantial set of courses in two disciplines that logically support one another. A dual major option must be reviewed and approved like any other major in the university. The options currently available are:
B.S. in Biology and Geology (or, Environmental Geology)
B.S. in Geology (or, Environmental Geology) and Chemistry
B.S. in Geology (or, Environmental Geology) and Mathematics
B.S. in Geology (or, Environmental Geology) and Physics
B.A. in Environmental Geology and Environmental Studies
B.A. in Environmental Studies and History (in review)
B.A. in Environmental Studies and International Affairs
B.A. in Environmental Studies and Political Science
