Research Interests
- Ground-water resource modeling in arid and semi-arid lands using remote sensing and GIS techniques.
- Detecting, monitoring and quantifying discharges into the sea using integrative remote sensing techniques and Geographic Information Systems.
- Establishing application oriented process flow models using remote sensing, image processing and GIS routines for hydrogeological applications.
- Developing remote sensing techniques for environmental change detection.
- Mapping and understanding terrestrial surfaces in the solar system.
- Development and management of digital cartographic databases (pre-requisite in all the above activities).
